From the Extra Bass SRS-XB23 model, the Extra Bass SRS-XB33 speaker differs in shape, large size, and weight. At the cost of increasing the size to 97 x 106 x 246 mm and weight to 1.1 kg, the designers were able to double the battery life, that is, the column works without recharging up to 24 hours.

The configuration and characteristics of Extra Bass SRS-XB33 do not differ from Extra Bass SRS-XB23. A pair of X-Balanced loudspeakers with non-circular diffusers and a pair of passive emitters are responsible for reproducing sound. The claimed range of reproducible frequencies is 20-20 000 Hz. To connect, use the Bluetooth 5.0 interface. The list of supported profiles includes A2DP, AVRCP, HSP, HFP, and SPP, and the codec list includes SBC, AAC, and LDAC. The USB-C port is used for charging. A cable is included.

A column worth $ 150 is offered in four color options. Three will be available in Russia: black, red, and blue. The manufacturer promises to name the price and start date of sales in Russia later.

A device with a diameter of 76 mm and a length of 218 mm weighs 580 g. Sony has updated its Extra Bass line of wireless speakers by adding, in particular, the SRS-XB23 shown in the illustration.

In the description, the manufacturer notes the high sound quality provided by the X-Balanced speakers with non-circular diffusers. This shape made it possible to increase the diaphragm size while maintaining the small size of the speaker. Two passive drivers enhance bass reproduction.
