OnePlus has given more details on the cameras of the upcoming OnePlus Nord. A total of six cameras are installed, which resolve with up to 48 megapixels.
OnePlus revealed another bite on the upcoming Nord smartphone. Which the manufacturer was fomenting a lot of hype about. In a message on the forum on the manufacturer’s official website. An employee of the OnePlus operator group now talks in more detail about OnePlus Nord cameras. He confirms most of the rumors. The most important information is now known before the official release on July 21.
As was already known, the OnePlus Nord shown here comes with a total of six cameras. These are divided into a quad camera on the back and a dual camera in the front.
The rear camera system has a main camera with 48 megapixels, an f / 1.75 aperture, and a Sony IMX586 sensor. This is no longer brand new since there is already a successor with IMX686. We examined in more detail how the two sensors are compared. However, for 48 megapixels this is enough, especially since it is a relatively inexpensive smartphone.
The camera is equipped with optical image stabilization. This is not a matter of course in the middle class and comes z. B. at Samsung only in the coming year with selected Galaxy A models. The main camera is supported by a super wide-angle camera of 8 megapixels, a macro camera (the resolution does not reveal OnePlus), and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The latter is primarily responsible for bokeh effects with blurry backgrounds in portraits. OnePlus Nord does not have a telephoto lens.
In front is a selfie camera with two lenses in an elongated hole punch. The main camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels. There is also a super wide-angle camera. OnePlus shows here that it has a viewing angle of 105 degrees and can also capture group selfies. The resolution here is also not discussed in more detail. According to the manufacturer, the front camera should be able to take good pictures using a special algorithm, even in adverse lighting conditions. But many other manufacturers also promise this.
