Bloomberg’s well-known Apple reporter Mark Gurman posted on Twitter that Apple may announce the date of the iPhone 12/Pro conference as soon as this week.

However, Mark Gurman believes that Apple will not release hardware this week, and it is more likely to announce the dates of online events for the iPhone 12 and Apple Watch Series 6. Traditionally, Apple generally sends out the invitation letter about two weeks before the conference. If Apple sends out the invitation letter on September 8, then the iPhone 12 conference will be held on September 22.

According to Prosser, Apple plans to hold a press release this Tuesday to announce the new iPad and Apple Watch models.

Taskboot was informed that Prosser explained that Apple plans to hold a press release at 9:00 on Tuesday, September 8th, US Eastern Time. But he pointed out that the day itself is not “locked”. Prosser also said that if there is an update, he will provide an update.

Prosser has previously stated that the new Apple Watch and iPad models will be released via press releases within the week of September 7. This so-called Tuesday press release seems to be aimed at these products.

Although the new Apple Watch model is likely to be the expected Series 6, Prosser did not say which iPad will arrive. In recent months, there has been some confusion about the low-cost iPad and iPad Air 4. Others said that the updated iPad Pro model may arrive this month, so it is difficult to know which iPad it is.

The release of multiple Apple products seems imminent. At the end of last month, Apple registered 8 Apple Watches and 7 iPads in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) filing. It is said that various leaked information such as iPad Air 4 manuals and design diagrams were also exposed. Similar EEC filings have appeared many times before the release of Apple’s new products, including multiple models such as iPad, iPad Pro, iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, and AirPods.

The EEC document actually confirms that the new Apple Watch and at least two different iPad models will be released soon. So Prosser’s statement that there will be announcements of these products in the press release on Tuesday is not unfounded. Prosser has correctly predicted some of Apple’s release plans in the past.
