Google Pixel 5 XL is unlikely to compete with the flagship models of this year

For several consecutive years, the situation with the leak of information, which relates to the new smartphones of the Google Pixel line, has been repeated. This time, the source published the first computer images of the Google Pixel 5 XL in a transparent silicone case.

If the images are true, then the Google Pixel 5 XL smartphone in terms of design is unlikely to compete with the flagship models of this year. A rather noticeable fringe on the front panel, the main camera with only two image sensors, and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel will definitely not contribute to this.

Previously, there was information that the three new Google Pixel models, which will go on sale this year, are under the working names of Sunfish, Redfin and Bramble. Under the name Sunfish hides the inexpensive Google Pixel 4a, while Redfin and Bramble are Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 5 XL, respectively.

According to unofficial information, Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 5 XL will be built on the basis of a single-chip system Snapdragon 765G. At the same time, they will not have the Soli radar, as well as the Motion Sense function, which was distinguished by the Google Pixel 4 smartphone.

The presentation of the Google Pixel 5 and Google Pixel 5 XL is supposedly expected in October.
