A new leak reveals AMD’s schedule for the next generation of chips. Consistent with this, Navi 2 can be expected as part of Van Gogh’s APU early next year, with Zen 3 also hitting the market with Cezanne and Warhol in a few months.
The version of the roadmap below was compiled by a reliable source and supplemented with some codenames to help you better understand the future AMD chips. Accordingly, the Ryzen 5000 notebook APUs, codenamed Cezanne, will be released to the market early next year based on the Zen 3 architecture. The chips should support both LPDDR4X and DDR4 RAM and be manufactured using 7nm technology, as already indicated. in previous leaks, but the APUs stay with the Vega GPU instead of finally switching to navigation systems.
IGPU Navi 2 will only appear in laptops with Rembrandt by early 2022. The first APUs using the new graphics architecture are codenamed, Van Gogh. Since this is a brand new series of APUs, it is not clear yet if these chips are meant for desktops, laptops, or servers. The CVML addition is supposed to stand for Computer Vision and Machine Learning, so the target group is clearly different from that of Cézanne. In early 2022, Van Gogh is going to be replaced by Dragon Crest.
