Huawei launched two new laptops today, namely MateBook X 2020 and MateBook 14. Both laptops are equipped with the latest Intel or AMD processors. Huawei hopes to launch different versions of the device in October.
The new version of Huawei MateBook X has a 13.3-inch display, while the MateBook 14 is equipped with a 14-inch screen. MateBook X weighs 1 kg and is 13.6 mm thick. The touch display has a resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels and a brightness of 400 nits.
MateBook X with i5-10210U & 16 GByte RAM
In MateBook X, Intel Core i5-10210U or i7-10510U are used, which are supported by 16 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The device also has a 512 GB SSD. In addition to Wi-Fi 6, it is also equipped with Bluetooth 5.0, 42 Wh battery, headphone jack, NFC sensor, and two USB-C ports.
Compared with the new MateBook X, MateBook 14 is not equipped with an Intel processor but is equipped with a Ryzen chip. Depending on the model, use Ryzen 5 4600H with 8 GB RAM, Ryzen 5 4600H with 16 GB RAM, or Ryzen 7 4800H with 16 GB RAM. The size of the internal memory is between 256 and 512 GB. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed on the notebook computer. The display has 2160 x 1440 pixels and a brightness of 300 nits. Due to the 56 watt-hour battery capacity, the laptop weighs 1490 grams, which is slightly heavier than the MateBook X.
The MateBook X can only be purchased in a silver color variant in this country. A green version is also available in other regions. 1499 euros are due for the notebook. Huawei wants to start shipping on October 7th.
