Sony Xperia 1.1 Leak: similar to Samsung S20
Despite not being able to attend MWC, Sony still decided to hold a new product launch conference at Xperia at 15:30 on February 24th Beijing time.
The news broke that Sony is expected to bring the new flagship Xperia 1.1 (“Xperia 2”).
In addition to retaining the 21: 9 movie screen and iterating to the Snapdragon 865 platform, Xperia 1.1 is expected to be upgraded to an imaging system similar to the Samsung Galaxy S20 +, namely 12 million main camera, 64 million pixel telephoto (3x optical zoom), 12 million wide-angle With ToF, this combination can record 8K HDR video, and at least two CMOS are provided by Samsung, not Sony’s own research.
In addition to this Snapdragon 865 flagship, Sony may also launch the Xperia 5 Plus (“Xperia 9”) mid-range phone, which is equipped with the Snapdragon 765 5G SoC.
I have to say that Sony’s new machine naming is getting more and more fascinating.
