The Microsoft Xbox Series X is already on display in a Saturn, new hands-on photos show the design
Saturn is already showcasing the Xbox Series X in Germany. So you can preview the console in advance even if unfortunately there is no way to try the device just yet. Photos of the sales area already provide a better idea of how the console will look in reality.
Saturn appears to be already showcasing an Xbox Series X prototype at its Xperion E-Arena in Cologne, as the photos posted below by @KeemaMr show. After Microsoft has shown almost exclusively image rendering so far. It’s nice to finally see real photos of the next-gen console, even if it’s a non-functional prototype, as evidenced by the empty ports on the back.
An interesting detail that until now has hardly been seen are the legs attached to the sides so that the console can also be easily laid on its side if there is not enough room on the shelves of the house for a portrait format. The green LED that shines through the grille at the top is as easy to see as the two Xbox logos on the front and one side. The rear seems to be removable with just one screw, which can make repairs surprisingly easy, but only the first removal will tell you for sure.
The Xbox Series X is rumored to hit the market on November 6th. With 12 TFLOPs rated graphics performance, 1TB SSD at 2.4Gb / s, and HDMI 2.1, the next-gen Xbox promises to play games at 4K resolution and up to 120fps – regardless of whether performance alone is enough to withstand PlayStation 5, but that remains to be seen.
