Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G on large official renders

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G on large official renders

It will be officially presented on August 5

We have already seen the official renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Buds Live wireless headphones. Now it’s time to appear on the official renders of Samsung’s top model – the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G smartphone. It differs from its predecessor with a noticeably larger front display and a redesigned main camera unit in the spirit of the Galaxy Note20 models.

The principle of opening with a book remained the same. But the framework became narrower. Both screens are Infinity-O with a flush-mounted front camera. Most likely the hinges have once again been revised, as they look a little thicker than their predecessor. Along with all the visual innovations, the designation of the model has changed. Galaxy Fold has ceased to be an independent device and entered the Z line. It is under the wing of this series that Samsung smartphones with flexible screens will be released.

Characteristics of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G

The characteristics of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G are already partly known. The diagonal of the external Super AMOLED screen is 6.23 inches. The internal one with a frame rate of 120 Hz is 7.7 inches. The main camera unit uses sensors with a resolution of 64, 12, and 12 Mp. The resolution of the front camera of the internal display is 10 Mp. The built-in flash memory will be 512 GB (although there were rumors of a more affordable version with 256 GB of memory), there is a 5G modem, which is emphasized in the name. Inside the device are two rechargeable batteries with a total capacity of 4356 mAh with support for 15 W wireless charging – both direct and reverse. According to rumors, the cost of the smartphone will be $ 1980 – at the level of its predecessor at the start of sales.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G  Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colors

The release of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G is just around the corner, and a high-resolution rendering of the next-generation foldable smartphones has yet to be revealed. This is still the case. Taskboot has received high-quality images of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G smartphone from a trusted source, showing its design from every angle. The smartphone will be released in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colors. And the device will have some design improvements to offer the first generation Samsung Galaxy Fold, especially the punch-hole design that replaces the huge notch seen in the first model.

The renders show that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G will have a familiar design with a book-folding mechanism. It will have a much larger Cover display on the outside than its predecessor. Samsung Galaxy Fold Z 2 5G will have a perforated Infinity-O display both inside and out to maximize screen space. Of course, there are no notches, and even the bezels are much thinner than before. This means Samsung has managed to squeeze large displays into a relatively compact body.

We can see the rear triple camera will be vertically aligned and surrounded by an LED flash. The entire camera body will protrude slightly from the rest of the rear panel. The hinge design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G also looks better, albeit at first glance a little thicker.
