OnePlus 8T leak and teaser video: Ultra does not stop at a price increase
OnePlus has now also confirmed the launch date for Europe on October 14th. A new teaser video locates the OnePlus 8T in “ultra-territory”, which, as we already know from Samsung. OnePlus 8T is often not cheap for the wallet. In any case, a leaker expects a hefty surcharge compared to the OnePlus 8. The Ultra may not stop at a further price increase.
“Ultra stops at nothing” is the title of the new OnePlus 8T video, which teasers the global launch for October 14th, which is already known from OnePlus India. But 8T has now also been confirmed by German sales. In the second half of 2020, OnePlus is obviously limited to a flagship and will no longer launch a successor to the OnePlus 8 Pro.
This time round, #UltraStopsAtNothing. Are you ready for the #OnePlus8T?

Is Ultra more expensive again?
On the other hand, the new teaser video from OnePlus has elevated the regular OnePlus 8T to the ultra realm. According to all previous information, it still has a 6.55-inch Full HD + regular OnePlus 8 display. Like accelerated charging, Hz will also accelerate, because OnePlus 8T may first introduce 65-watt warp charging. This camera uses a new design and adds a sensor. We don’t yet know whether the 48-megapixel sensor will be qualitatively upgraded. It is unlikely to plan to increase it to 64-megapixel.
… source is pretty confident about this and he was right in the past so I guess this could be real deal after all.
You should expect the same number in USD too btw cuz OnePlus use the same price number but with different currency.— Chun (@chunvn8888) September 21, 2020
Compared with OnePlus 8, is there any reason for these changes and the “everything to use extreme” move to raise prices again. However, this is exactly the prediction of the leaker, who classified the source of the leak as very reliable. OnePlus 8T equipped with an 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It will obviously cost 799 Euros, while the version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage the cost is 899 Euros. This is 100 Euros higher than OnePlus 8 when it was launched in the spring and 200 Euros higher than OnePlus 7T when it was launched a year ago. In this regard, even if OnePlus is becoming more and more difficult to explain, the leak is completely believed. But maybe everything is different from leaks.
