Sony is said to be planning a phenomenal PlayStation 5 event, including exclusives, price and release date

A new rumor is currently spreading online that Sony is planning a phenomenal PS5 event that could convince even the most cynical of PlayStation fans with plenty of revelations. According to several questionable sources, details on backward compatibility, exclusive titles and the console’s price can be expected.

Two Leakers Claim that Sony has an event scheduled for the PlayStation 5 over the next few weeks. But both are cautious about the exact date. Assuming both sources have made false predictions about the PS5 in the past, one should remain a little skeptical. It is interesting to see. However, both agree that Sony has scheduled the corresponding Livestream by late August or early September.

Currently, August 20 is listed on social media as the likely date for the event. This is also in line with @Tidux’s forecast, which expects the event to take place between late August and early September. The teaser image below, however, belongs to Roberto Serrano, who was already completely wrong with his pre-order predictions. On the other hand, the usually much more reliable Jeff Grubb pointed out that August will be more of a “month for the Xbox” PlayStation fans so may have to wait a few more weeks.
