Over 20 models Samsung Galaxy will receive the update to One UI 2.5
Apart from the current Samsung Galaxy S20, more than 20 other models from the manufacturer will receive the update to One UI 2.5. This will give smartphones a number of useful new software features such as professional video mode.
With Samsung’s One UI 2.5 already preinstalled on the new Galaxy Note20, users of a whole host of other Samsung smartphones can look forward to an update in the near future. The South Korean company published a press release yesterday that revealed some of the features that will be available with the update for the Galaxy S20. In addition, a footnote to the post provides a list of all smartphones that should also receive an update in accordance with the current status.
The following models are listed here:
- Galaxy S20 (5G)

However, in its press release, Samsung immediately points out that the features of the new software may differ depending on the model. Version 2.5 comes with a new professional video mode for the Galaxy S20, for example, in which you can shoot in 8k at 24 frames per second and manually set the recording direction of the microphone. In addition, with Samsung DeX, your own smartphone can be wirelessly connected to a TV and controlled, if the latter supports screen mirroring. In particular, gesture controls have been redesigned. It will be interesting to see which smartphone models also get an update in the future.
