Nintendo Switch: Planned to upgrade next-gen console

The publisher of Electronic Arts (EA) recognized the upward trend of the Nintendo Switch and announced work on several Switch games to be released in the coming months. Among them, the well-known Burnout Paradise Remastered.

During the presentation of the latest financial indicators, EA praised the development and current success of the Nintendo Switch. Without going into details, analysts were given the understanding that in the current fiscal year. The several new games also had to be developed or ported to the Nintendo console. So far, the Switch portfolio has only five games from the American publisher – FIFA 18, FIFA 19, FIFA 20. The release of the Burnout Paradise Remastered switch is scheduled for June.

14 new EA titles to appear in the next few months

Especially during the coronavirus crisis, the Nintendo Switch is one of the most popular console platforms in the world. EA will release at least 14 titles for Windows PCs and the current Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4) consoles. EA fans should be able to learn more about the new announcements no later than June. Despite the cancellation of E3 2020, EA will host its Play Live broadcast on June 11 at 11 p.m.

E3 2020: No online event planned

Already in March, it became known that this year the exhibition of games E3 should be cancelled due to the current major crisis. Now the organizer emphasized that not a single online event will also take place. Next year there will also be a revised concept.

When the world’s most important gaming fair was cancelled, the organizers were still considering replacing the Los Angeles event with an online publication. However, this should not happen. At the request of the PC Gamer, the Entertainment Software Association confirmed that the E3 2020 will be completely cancelled

With the cancellation of E3, the organizer does not rule out the possibility of helping publishers present their innovations. ESA would like to find customized options for game developers so that ads can be made outside of E3. Compared to the online edition of the gaming fair, publishers need to be more flexible. Now the organizer emphasized that not a single online event will also take place. Next year there will also be a revised concept.
